Our designer, Kimberly Stead, is a Certified Interior Designer with 30 years experience and co-owner of Sacred Space Imports. Kimberly was co-founder and co-owner of Designtech, one of San Diego’s top commercial interior design firms for 15 years, with projects ranging up to $5 million and 200,000 square feet. In 2001, she created Sacred Spaces, providing design consultation for homeowners. During that time, Kimberly also managed a Hacienda-style furniture store in Encinitas, CA for two years. She now brings her professionalism, experience and expertise to our customers. She loves to take the stress and frustration out of the design process for you, saving you time and money, and helping you create an environment in your home that expresses who you are.

We just purchased a buffet cabinet from Sacred Space Imports in Solana Beach and were blown away by the fabulous customer service. We walked in at 2:00 on a Saturday and fell in love with the cabinet, but needed to measure our space at home.  We raced home to measure and as soon as we determined that it would fit, we called to make the purchase on the phone. As a joke we asked if they could deliver that day–and they said they would try. We were impressed just knowing that they would try, so imagine our delight when the knock on the door came 2 hours later. The delivery team was friendly, efficient, and very helpful. Only one problem-the cabinet was a little too tall. So we called Bruce at Sacred Space Imports to see if we could have the delivery team bring the cabinet back over to cut a little off the legs.  Instead he said he would come to our home the next morning (a Sunday) at 10 to sand down the legs to make the cabinet fit. Bruce arrived at 10:00 sharp, moved the cabinet to our garage, sanded down the legs, and moved the cabinet back to the dining room in about 45 minutes. And, to top it all off, he vacuumed up the sawdust! I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service. The furniture is beautiful. Bruce truly wants his customers to be satisfied with their purchase. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for furniture now.
